about Issues

Issue numbers
Issues do not really have an issue number but they can be uniquely identified by their node number (everything on this website has a unique node number). The node number is visible in the URL of the issue, for example it is correct to say "issue 66" when you refer to the issue at node http://www.my-imo.net/node/66 although it is not really the 66'th issue because the first 65 nodes may be actually be forum topics or other nodes.

Referring an issue
Assuming you have created an issue and its URL is http://www.my-imo.net/node/66, you can discuss it as issue 66 because the node number is unique and will never change. The website also has a pretty cool feature that you can also refer to the issue as #66: adapter/cartridge support for Tagged Values - so the website software automatically creates a link in the color of the issue status. The way to do this, is: just enter [#66] in the text. A reminder for this feature is in the hints, just below every editor widget
